All evening block rentals include use of the Hall, tables & chairs, house lights (including stage lights, remote disco ball and ceiling tent lights) as well as bar service (daytime rentals do not include bar service)

Renters are responsible for:
Supplying event staff, excluding bartenders (i.e. Security, Bussers. Door Persons)
Set-up, Take-Down & Clean-Up (garbage bins are provided, the WISE takes care of sweeping & washroom cleaning)
Publicity and General Coordination of their events
Change for floats for admission, food & product.

Hall Liaison (recommended for new renters, high-attendance events, weddings, mandatory for all-ages event)
The liaison is your on-site WISE rep. They will orient you to the space, suggest optimal space usage, monitor your event for safety & security, and generally works with you to ensure your event runs smoothly. The Liaison is not a security person, but will work with your security team.

*New Conditions for 2012 Rentals

All Friday & Saturday rentals must have a bar
Wedding Receptions require a great deal more coordinating for the venue, thus the fee is increased
All-ages events must:
Hire 1 bonded security for every 50 under-age guests
Hire a WISE Hall Liaison to be the on-site rep to assist with the event ($140)
Have a cash, non-alcoholic bar, provided by the WISE (pop, juice, water, coffee)
Meet any additional terms deemed by the venue on a case by case basis

Bar Service
The WISE Hall serves preservative-free beer and has a fully stocked bar, featuring the finest local and international libations. We are able to serve alcohol to anyone over 19 years of age. All of our bartenders have Serving it Right licenses.
SOCAN Fees
At an event where music is involved, excluding concerts, the WISE Club requires that a fee be paid to cover payment to HYPERLINK "http://www.socan.ca/" \t "_blank" SOCAN (Society of Arrangers and Composers of Canada). Concert presenters are responsible for making payments to SOCAN.
